1. Classic Beef Chili
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 can kidney beans (15 oz), drained
1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
½ onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper
Instructions:
Brown beef in a large pot. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic; cook until soft.
Add beans, tomatoes, and spices.
Simmer 20–30 mins, stirring occasionally.
2. Turkey Chili
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1 can black beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 small bell pepper, chopped
½ onion, chopped
2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin
Salt, pepper, olive oil
Instructions:
Sauté onion and pepper in oil until soft.
Add turkey and cook until browned.
Add beans, tomatoes, and spices.
Simmer for 25 minutes.
3. Vegetarian Bean Chili
Ingredients:
1 can black beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 small zucchini, chopped
½ bell pepper, chopped
1 tsp each: chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika
Olive oil, salt & pepper
Instructions:
Sauté zucchini and pepper in oil for 5 mins.
Add beans, tomatoes, and spices.
Simmer 20–30 mins, stirring occasionally.
4. White Chicken Chili
Ingredients:
1 lb cooked shredded chicken
1 can white beans (cannellini or navy)
1 can green chilies (4 oz)
2 cups chicken broth
¼ cup sour cream or cream cheese
½ tsp cumin, ½ tsp oregano
Instructions:
In a pot, add broth, beans, chilies, and seasonings.
Add chicken and simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in sour cream. Heat through and serve.
5. Chili Con Carne
Ingredients:
1 lb diced beef (chuck or stew meat)
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 cup beef broth
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin, salt & pepper
Instructions:
Brown beef in a pot. Remove and set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic, return beef to pot.
Add tomatoes, broth, and spices.
Simmer on low for 1–2 hours until tender.
6. Sweet Potato & Black Bean Chili (Vegan)
Ingredients:
1 medium sweet potato, cubed
1 can black beans
1 can diced tomatoes
½ onion, chopped
1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp cumin
Olive oil, salt, pepper
Instructions:
Sauté onion and sweet potato in oil.
Add beans, tomatoes, and spices.
Cover and simmer until sweet potato is tender (15–20 mins).
7. 3-Bean Slow Cooker Chili
Ingredients:
1 can each: black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans
1 can crushed tomatoes
½ cup corn (optional)
½ onion, chopped
2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin
Salt & pepper
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a slow cooker.
Stir and cook on low for 6–8 hrs or high for 3–4 hrs.
Stir, taste, and adjust seasoning before serving.
8. Chili Mac
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can kidney beans
1½ cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
2 cups broth or water
1 tsp chili powder
Instructions:
Brown meat in a pan. Add spices.
Stir in beans, tomatoes, macaroni, and broth.
Simmer 12–15 mins until pasta is tender. Stir occasionally.
9. Spicy Lentil Chili
Ingredients:
¾ cup dried red lentils (rinsed)
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cups vegetable broth
½ onion, chopped
1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin
1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions:
Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
Add lentils, tomatoes, broth, and spices.
Simmer 20–25 minutes until lentils are tender.
10. Chili Stuffed Bell Peppers
Ingredients:
2 large bell peppers (halved and hollowed)
1 cup cooked chili (use leftovers or any from above)
¼ cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Fill bell pepper halves with chili.
Top with cheese if desired.
Bake for 20–25 minutes.
